Update: Pan’s Labyrinth

Pan’s Labyrinth was a phenomenal movie, but unfortunately I can’t classify it as an action movie. As such I won’t be doing a full review on the film.

I do highly recommend it, though. It is brilliantly constructed and well worthy of its nomination as Best International Film. I actually think it is worthy of including in the discussion for Best Film. It is also much darker and more brutal than I had anticipated.

As far as the next review goes, I’ll be pulling a DVD out of the stockpile this evening and will post more information tomorrow.
